My name is Sandra Dubach and i will introduce myself shortly. Since 2009 I have been approved as a FCI judge for Belgian shepherds and later for Dutch shepherds and the Schipperkes. As a child I have been involved with the Belgians through my parents and together we breed tervueren under the affix Van de Lamar. This hobby became a passion for life and so the story began. For me type is very important and also a good temperament. I always try to take time for the judgement as it is important to explain and talk to the exhibitors. Meanwhile I have been very honoured to judge around the world and this is the third time for me being invited to judge at this show. First time in 2009 in Belgium and the second time here in France in 2016. This is one of the most prestige events for our wonderful Belgians in different disciplines, working, obedience, agility and show. Participants from all over the world, training every week with their dogs to qualify for this event is amazing. I wish everyone a wonderful and successful weekend!
I bought my very first Belgian shepherd in 1992, when I was 17 years old and I brought it home without consent of my parents…
From 1995 I started to breed under my Deabei kennel. Currently I breed Belgian shepherds (tervurens and marginaly groenendaels too) and also Border collies.
Since 2006 I have been an international show judge for Belgian shepherds, presently extending for Border collies too.
On the Belgian shepherds I appreciate the typical silhouette of the head and body, self-confident balanced character and nice relationship with the owner in the show ring.
